Tekmark® Global Solutions LLC (Tekmark), a leading provider of IT consultants and business solutions announced today its acquisition of the business of Odyssey Consulting Inc. (Odyssey), one of the fastest growing information technology staffing firms in Columbus, Ohio.

Odyssey Consulting Inc., established in 1990, has been recognized by Business First as the fastest growing IT consulting firm in Central Ohio for seven years, from 2000–2007. The company provides IT consulting to many industries including financial, auto, health care, insurance, utilities, and the government sector.

Acquiring Odyssey’s business advances Tekmark's stated objective of strengthening its IT consulting business to better serve clients in central Ohio, and beyond. The acquisition is a strategic fit for Tekmark to continue to accelerate its growth in the coming years.

The merging of Tekmark’s and Odyssey’s businesses will benefit clients as the collective skills and experience of its employees will result in a stronger business partner through a broader footprint and expanded base of qualified consultants. It further reinforces Tekmark’s commitment to support clients’ consulting needs and will allow Tekmark to better service many of its national clients who have operations in the Ohio area.

Odyssey clients will benefit from Tekmark’s broad US and international presence along with a diversified portfolio of services which also include IT solutions capabilities, managed services, telecom products and state-of-the-art solutions centers.

Tekmark’s Columbus, Ohio branch will be staffed by former Odyssey employees. Clients and consultants will continue to receive the same outstanding support along with a host of additional services and solutions.
